Library Mate™ provides feedback, ensuring that the patron places the material in the Holds Mate™ before continuing the return process. An optional indicator can alert patrons that the cart is full and that they should deposit the materials in a different cart.
The Holds Mate™ offers two options of integrated material registration with RFID or sensors. Both options can be placed in the units and report material entry back to the Library Mate™.
The design of the Holds Mate™ prevents patrons from removing returned materials. The side windows enable a clear, visual inspection for library staff when they need to empty the unit.
