PICK UP HOLDS ANYWHERE, ANY TIME
Materials, for example reserved via the library website, can be collected from the Lyngsoe Library Locker outside of opening hours. Patrons can handle the pick-up process themselves in a few, very simple steps. The Lyngsoe Library Locker can be placed inside or outside normal library facilities, such as a train station or mall, to extend the library’s service reach and enhance convenience for the patrons.
ONLY OPENS TO THE CORRECT PATRON
Library staff feed the library locker with the reserved materials, and the individual compartments are linked to the specific patrons in the intuitive management software. Via SIP2 to the LMS, the patrons are notified that the materials are ready for pick-up. The only thing the patrons need to do is to identify themselves by scanning the library card or manual patron identification on the appealing touchscreen, and only the relevant doors open to them, and the materials are checked-out in the LMS.
SCALABLE TO MEET YOUR NEEDS
Depending on your capacity needs, the locker system can be expanded by supplementing the main module with equally robust add-on modules. The Lyngsoe Library Locker is site configurable, allowing you to adjust existing compartment sizes by simply swapping out different door sizes and removing or adding shelves, to meet your changing demands.
Staff software is designed for staff to manage devices and see transaction history and usage statistics. Staff can also use the browser for operational actions such as item check-out or check-in for a given user. The browser app can open individual locks or all locks at once in case of emergency. All check-out and check-in transactions are listed in self-check view, and notifications and reports are listed under messages view.
