A New Look for Lyngsoe Library Systems

A New Look for Lyngsoe Library Systems

June 24, 2026

Today, Lyngsoe Library Systems launches a new name, a new logo, and a refreshed visual identity. You'll see it for the first time in person at the American Library Association Annual Conference in Chicago.

A Brand that Reflects Who We Are

Lyngsoe Library Systems has been part of the library world for decades, shaped by the coming together of many companies and a great deal of accumulated expertise. As a company with offices and customers across the world, we've always wanted a brand that unites us, one that communicates clearly to our customers who we are and what we stand for. Our values of reliability, expertise, trust, and care have guided our work for years, and this rebrand finally gives them a visible form.

In September 2024, we became an independent company, separating from our sister company Lyngsoe Systems. The two companies share a name and a history but serve widely different industries. If you work with libraries, Lyngsoe Library Systems is where you belong, and we wanted to make that as clear as possible.

Better Systems. Better Service.

The rebrand also introduces a new tagline: Better Systems. Better Service. Rather than just a statement about our products, it reflects how we think about the relationship between technology and library service. Libraries run on interconnected processes, and when those systems work well, everything else follows. Staff can focus on people, not logistics, and patrons get the experience they came for. It's what we've always aimed to deliver, and now it's one of the first things you see.

Characters that Reflect Library Life

As part of the new identity, we're introducing a cast of 2D characters who appear across our communications and materials. You'll recognize the situations they're in, a staff member sorting through stacks of returns, a patron navigating self-service, a Lyngsoe colleague providing support on-site. Together they represent real library scenarios and our belief that good technology starts with understanding the people who use it.

What Hasn't Changed

Though a new look might seem like a drastic change, the people, the products, the service, and the commitment behind the company remains the same as always. This rebrand is about clarity, rather than a change in direction.

"This rebrand gives us a way to show up as who we actually are," says Louise Paydari, Head of Marketing at Lyngsoe Library Systems. "It's been a long time in the making, and we're proud to bring it into the world today."

Where You'll See It

The new identity is rolling out across our website, social media, materials, and communications starting today. If you're attending ALA in Chicago this week, you'll see it at our booth, 4026.
