Lyngsoe Library Systems Acquires Ownership Shares of D-Tech International

As of June 2026, Lyngsoe Library Systems (LLS) has taken a significant step forward with the acquisition of D-Tech International, bringing together two complementary product portfolios within the library technology industry.
The change in ownership will primarily affect the North American and UK markets, as D-Tech operate mainly in these areas. In the short term, however, very little will change for LLS and D-Tech customers with all outstanding projects being completed by the initial project team. The priority is to make the transition smooth and keep any disruption to projects and services to an absolute minimum.
Both LLS and D-Tech International have a wide range of products and systems but are known for their expertise within Smart Lockers (D-Tech) and Automated Material Handling (LLS), respectively. With this acquisition, these product portfolios will be combined, providing the merged customer base with the most valuable options available.
Similarly, both companies place long-term customer satisfaction at the center of everything they do. This merger will build on their combined service capabilities to deliver even stronger support across a wider footprint.
