This is a fixed, discrete and cost-efficient system. The reader is positioned beneath the staff desk, reducing clutter and the shielded antenna provides accurate reading area, minimizing false readings and other interference.

The workstation consists of an RFID-reader and related control and conversion software. The handling of RFID- tagged material and transmitting item identification information to and from a library management system is easy and straightforward. The included conversion software makes it is easy to write item identification information to RFID tag memory.
The software enables the RFID readers to communicate seamlessly with an existing library management system. There is no need to do any adjustments to the library system; it can transmit the correct information from the RFID tags to the system. The alarm will be activated or deactivated when items are checked in or out.
